Responsibilities

The Senior Application Support Engineer will provide technical support to Sales, Business Users, Institutional, and Retail customers, focusing on application and API support, and ensuring network connectivity. They will identify and resolve production incidents, taking end-to-end ownership and collaborating with various teams for timely escalation and resolution. The role involves managing release activities, participating in audit reviews, and executing BCP exercises, while ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices and client expectations. Monitoring and automating application and infrastructure alerts to maintain system stability and uptime, maintaining a knowledge repository, and documenting standard operating procedures are key responsibilities. Continuous improvement efforts, including identifying areas for optimization, implementing automation, and enhancing service levels, will be undertaken. The engineer will also communicate effectively with stakeholders and interfacing teams, and be available for shift work and weekend support.
