About the Team and Role
- This role focuses on building the Poe Android app as a founding member.

Responsibilities
- Work with a small team of mobile engineers to design, build, and maintain the Poe Android app.
- Build new user-facing features and contribute to the Poe product roadmap.
- Create tools and infrastructure to enable rapid development of the Poe mobile experience.
- Collaborate with the Poe product team and other engineers to enhance the overall user experience.
Requirements
- Experience: 6+ years of full-time experience in Android development.
- Languages: Expertise in Java and/or Kotlin, Android frameworks, and mobile engineering best practices.
- Skills: Strong creative mindset for designing user experiences and high attention to detail in development.
Additional Requirements
- Availability: Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora’s “coordination hours” (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time).
