Candidates should possess strong experience with Android development tooling and processes utilizing Kotlin and other Android libraries, along with experience in unit and integration testing of Kotlin applications. They should have a solid understanding of RESTful API's and microservice architecture, coupled with experience in SpringBoot and Java ecosystem frameworks and libraries. Furthermore, candidates are expected to have experience working with object-oriented programming and cloud technologies, a strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, and experience writing abstraction layers to interact with databases. A thorough understanding of the Android app release and publishing process and tooling, alongside excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and system design skills, is also required.
As a Senior Android Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Android applications, monitoring and interpreting changes in employment legislation across North America and developing HR policies to ensure compliance, conducting audits, delivering training, and advising management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, and collaborating effectively within Agile/Scrum teams. You will also be involved in troubleshooting, debugging, and system design, as well as contributing to the release and publishing process of Android applications.
