Requirements

  • Significant experience (at least 5-6 years) in developing analytical projects in credit risk management, anti-fraud modelling, and/or Marketing
  • Degree in quantitative subjects (e.g., mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, physics)
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Good experience in the design and implementation of credit risk models
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and statistical methodologies in model development
  • Good knowledge of one or more major statistical packages (e.g., Python, SAS, WPS, SPSS, R)
  • Established track record (at least four years) of delivering complex analytical projects
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Strong personal motivation and commitment to results

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage a team of analytical resources (Consultants, Jr. Consultants, Analysts) in developing robust analytical solutions for clients, primarily in the financial sector, including statistical models and ad hoc data analysis
  • Understand project requirements and communicate them to junior staff
  • Ensure project deliverables are accurate and meet project scope and objectives
  • Question results proactively, interpret them into conclusions and recommendations for clients
  • Present project results to clients and/or senior members of Experian
  • Participate in pre-sales and sales meetings with clients and prospects to describe, position, and adapt Experian’s analytics projects and propositions
  • Plan, organize, and complete project work to meet team commitments within agreed timescales
  • For more senior candidates: expanded team, project, and client management responsibilities
