Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics, and ideally hold an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in a related discipline. Applicants must demonstrate a strong understanding of financial modeling techniques, including structured finance concepts, and possess at least 5 years of experience in financial analysis or modeling, with a preference for experience in structured credit or capital markets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Analyst, Structured Finance Modeling, you will develop and maintain nimble, user-friendly quantitative solutions and tools for credit analysts globally, ensuring their reliability and operational performance. You will synthesize and analyze large datasets to derive analytic value and insights for credit rating analyses and research publications, and focus on identifying areas for new, creative solutions and continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will work collaboratively with senior members of Methodologies and Ratings Technology, create applications and dashboards utilizing models and data, and provide insight to the team in solving complex, non-routine problems and tasks, while maintaining close interaction with analysts and subject matter experts to inform analytical decisions.
