Requirements
- 1-2 years of work experience in high-volume transaction reconciliation
- A university degree in a numerical subject with a strong academic record
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, PowerQuery, or VBA
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large data sets with confidence
- Knowledge of Card Schemes, Alternative Payment Methods, or Payin/Payout solutions
- A consistent track record of finding end-to-end solutions to issues and collaborating with cross-functional and remote teams
- The ability to meet tight deadlines in an evolving environment with often shifting priorities
- The ability to self-manage individual projects of high complexity and automate manual tasks
- Experience building relationships with key partner groups to achieve business outcomes and improve process efficiency
- English proficiency and excellent communication skills at all levels
Responsibilities
- Reconcile Checkout.com's payment gateway processing across multiple bank accounts and providers
- Connect with internal and external partners to resolve queries in an effective and timely manner
- Identify discrepancies, the respective root causes, and take action to eliminate and prevent any such in perspective
- Perform safeguarding reconciliation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify and resolve safeguarding issues in a timely manner
- Develop and implement controls to optimize safeguarding and reconciliation processes
- Support the implementation of reconciliation systems (internal, external)
- Perform automation work and support new product projects alongside cross-functional teams
- Improve processes, while maintaining robust controls
- Be an SME in reconciliations, systems and tools of online payment transactions, apply commanding knowledge of clearing and settlement processes to balance priorities in project delivery
- Support the team on audits both internal and external
- Continually develop skills and knowledge in line with business growth and expansion
