Requirements
- Knowledge of end-to-end Procure to Payment (P2P) processes
- Experience with different ERPs and systems for invoice processing
- Ability to perform basic analysis in accounting, finance, procurement, and customer service
- Capability to synthesize information and draw conclusions based on requirements
- Specialized training in operational activities and routine systems/processes (advanced independent judgment not required)
Responsibilities
- Process and troubleshoot invoices accurately and efficiently throughout the month utilizing different ERPs and systems
- Pro-actively chase outstanding actions to ensure invoices are processed and paid on time
- Research and resolve supplier disputes and issues, including root cause analysis and proactive steps to mitigate future issues
- Provide customer service by answering and resolving questions and problems; direct cases to appropriate departments or persons; educate internal and external customers on policies and procedures; prepare and provide data for clients; retrieve and request additional documentation when required
- Adhere to contractual payment terms to ensure smooth business operations while maximizing cash flow
- Ensure documents are processed in accordance with policies and procedures; maintain data tracking logs for metrics, production, and compliance reporting; validate accuracy of supporting documentation for exceptions; allocate income or expenses; validate and record transactions in subsidiary books; enter journal entries; compare data from various sources; identify items to escalate; verify customer/supplier information in systems
- Contribute to quality control by reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance; adhere to legal and regulatory requirements; notify management of quality issues, data trends, system/process issues; communicate to stakeholders; share process improvement suggestions; perform quality controls on processed documents
- Complete assigned work and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co-workers, internal clients, and others involved in processes
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
