Requirements

  • Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares internal and external financial reports
  • Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in areas such as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, and income
  • Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy
  • Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow statements; prepares and consolidates financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports
  • Designs, modifies, installs, and/or maintains accounting systems to ensure adequate recognition of financial transactions
  • Ensures adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Experience with month-end close processes
  • Provides technical support and accounting for M&A activities
  • Oversees technical accounting research for complex business transactions and implementation of new accounting standards
  • Ability to collaborate with BPO partners (e.g., Accenture), corporate and local finance teams, HR, Accounts Payable, internal/external auditors, and IT support teams
  • Based in Pune, India, with focus on managing employee benefit accounting across multiple geographies

  • Manage and optimize employee benefit accounting operations for Diabetes International, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
  • Support process improvement initiatives and collaborate with HR, finance teams, BPO partners, auditors, and IT
