Requirements

  • Experience making multiple games, as an indie and/or inside a game studio
  • Experience working with Unity engine
  • Experience with a 3D software package
  • Intermediate oral and written communication skills in English
  • A portfolio showcasing your work
  • Passionate about making games and understanding how visuals influence gameplay, UX, and player engagement
  • Comfortable moving between 2D and 3D disciplines (concepting, modelling, texturing, lighting, or animating as needed) with a solid understanding of creating game-ready assets efficiently
  • Experience pushing AI tools: controlling model consistency, building custom prompts, using inpainting workflows, and combining Gen-AI results with traditional techniques
  • Self-motivated team player who proactively seeks feedback, shares knowledge, and interacts well with diverse people
  • Experience working with Unity and/or other game engines, as well as Git, from folder structures to implementing fully playable games

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple teams and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, from junior developers to senior leadership
  • Help transform GDDs into playable mobile games and define pipelines for next phases of development
  • Solve problems and obstacles efficiently along the development process
  • Iterate quickly in multiple ways to find the best solutions for gameplay and player experience (work fast, fail fast, correct fast)
  • Build and evolve workflows, including defining how and when to use Gen-AI, which tools to adopt, and ensuring output quality and consistency
  • Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to transform ideas into compelling visual experiences, from early prototypes to polished production assets
