Candidates must be eligible for sponsorship for security clearance. They should have deep experience with cutting-edge offensive-security techniques and be fluent across AI/ML infrastructure, including data, training, inference, schedulers, and accelerators, with the ability to threat model end-to-end. The role requires the ability to operate independently, align diverse teams, deliver on tight timelines, and communicate clearly and concisely with experts and decision-makers. Prior experience leading high-stakes security research programs with external sponsors is a plus.
The Security Researcher will lead efforts to map, characterize, and prioritize cross-layer vulnerabilities in advanced AI systems, spanning data pipelines, training/inference runtimes, and system/supply chain components. This role involves driving offensive research, producing technical deliverables, and serving as the primary technical counterpart for external partners. Responsibilities include building an AI Stack Threat Map, delivering deep-dive reports on vulnerabilities and mitigations, orchestrating inputs across research, engineering, security, and policy, and performing hands-on threat modeling, red-team design, and exploitation research. The researcher will also translate complex technical issues for various audiences and brief on risk, impact, and mitigations.
