Requirements

  • Current student enrolled in an Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, or related field — or a recent graduate
  • Ability to work full-time (preferred), Monday–Friday during the internship term
  • Ability to work onsite in Boca Raton, FL headquarters
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Demonstrated interest in information security/cybersecurity and eagerness to learn
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow established processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and collaborate with multiple internal teams
  • Nice to have: familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts (malware, phishing, network defense), exposure to security tools, or coursework/certification-in-progress such as CompTIA Security+

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily security monitoring by reviewing alerts and events from tools such as SIEM, GuardDuty, and MSSP, and escalating suspicious activity to senior analysts
  • Support incident response activities, including documenting and tracking incidents and observing containment/remediation steps led by the team
  • Conduct threat intelligence research on emerging threats and vulnerabilities from internal and external sources and summarize key findings for the team
  • Learn and assist with basic configuration or usage of security tools (ticketing systems, monitoring dashboards, reporting tools)
  • Maintain logs, reports, and process documentation to support the Security Operations function
  • Follow established security procedures and escalate questions or findings to senior team members
