High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
No experience required
Basic computer skills desirable, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact respectfully with all Team Members, including Tyson Management
Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion
Valid driver’s license
Ability to cover other shifts when needed
Priority for candidates currently working at this facility

Responsibilities

Physical security of the facility, including walking or stationary posts
Inspection and control of persons and vehicles entering or leaving the facility
Logging of truck traffic during ingress and egress
Writing reports
Performing preliminary investigations of accidents, thefts, workplace violence, and other incidents
Switchboard operations, two-way radio communication, and intercom equipment
Checking identification of all visitors, vendors, contractors, and Team Members, allowing only authorized personnel into the facility
Checking all carry-in items including bags, briefcases, toolboxes, lunchboxes, etc
Roving or walking through the plant to check physical facility security
Inspection of all motor vehicles driven into the plant
