Requirements

Minimum 5 year(s) of experience (with 3+ years in IAM focused on Okta, including at least one full lifecycle Okta implementation project)
15-16 years of full-time education
Strong experience working with Okta as a cloud-based IAM solution
Solid understanding of security standards and protocols including SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP, RADIUS, and Kerberos
Practical experience with REST APIs and JSON
Experience with directory integrations such as Active Directory and LDAP
Hands-on knowledge of Okta hooks and the Okta Sign-In Widget
Understanding of federated identity, access management, and 2-factor authentication solutions
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Development experience in J2EE, Java, or JavaScript
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently on technical tasks and client engagements
Must have skills: Okta Identity Management

Responsibilities

Define, design, and implement IAM solutions using Okta for both SaaS and on-premise applications
Configure SSO, MFA, and federated identity solutions using protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC
Integrate Okta with directory services like Active Directory and LDAP
Troubleshoot and resolve complex Okta-related technical issues
Work closely with application teams to support REST API integrations and JSON-based configuration
Utilize Okta hooks, Sign-In Widget, and access management features
Support application onboarding, including access policies, group assignments, and role management
Establish and troubleshoot SAML federations with internal and external identity providers
Communicate effectively with business teams, external clients, and solution providers
Document technical designs, solutions, and implementation plans
Work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables
Lead the implementation and delivery of Security Services projects, leveraging global delivery capability (method, tools, training, assets)
Define cloud security frameworks and architectures, aligning security controls with business requirements
Support the transition to managed cloud security operations
