Requirements

Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s degree program in Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2026/Spring 2027
Strong interest in security, compliance, and risk management
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with frameworks such as NIST, COSO, COBIT, ISO/IEC 27001/27701, PCI-DSS 4.0, SOC 2 Type 2, GDPR, or ISO/IEC 42001 (preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint (preferred)
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing documentation for SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS audits
Support the development and maintenance of GRC and Security & Compliance policies and procedures
Conduct research on regulatory updates and help assess their impact on internal controls
Participate in internal compliance reviews and risk assessments across business units
Help maintain documentation of compliance activities and audit evidence
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze compliance data
Assist with refining customer responses facilitated by the AI assistant within Drata/Safebase
Contribute to the development of dashboards and tools for compliance reporting using platforms like Apptega
