  • Comfortable blending Agile and Waterfall methodologies and comfortable using KANBAN
  • Strong influencer with the ability to influence across a broad stakeholder group
  • Practised in helping everyone understand Agile concepts
  • Ideally a Change/Project expert
  • Outgoing personality and natural ability to develop and drive personal relationships within professional parameters

Responsibilities

  • Set up and facilitate ceremonies for the team, including Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, Demo, and Retro
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of ceremonies and look for ways to improve them, working closely with the Product Owner and team
  • Understand the principles of "Flow" and getting work items "done", value this, and embed this thinking in the team
  • Remove impediments quickly and be seen as a team member who can help address issues, while helping the team address issues on their own where appropriate, maintaining a view on flow
  • Support the team during BRP and ensure the flow of the session works for the team to achieve the right outcomes
  • Prepare the team ahead of BRP sessions so they know what to expect and appropriate pre-work is done
  • Support Platform Engineering and Database Teams by planning work, unblocking issues, keeping the team focused on priorities, and protecting them from interruptions
  • Triage all support requests that come in through the sprint before distributing across the teams
  • Support aspects of Delivery and capacity planning by creating short and longer term team plans and necessary resource allocations
  • Work with Product Owners and Product Managers to secure Project Commitments and Resources
  • Speak to stakeholders in the business and foster support from Development Teams
