Requirements

  • Ph.D. degree (postdoctoral training preferred) or Masters with 4+ years of experience or Bachelors with 6+ years of experience
  • Hands-on experience with tumor biology, drug discovery, target identification and technology development
  • Strong knowledge base in cancer genomics and oncogenic signaling, including technical skillset of cutting-edge methods and models of cancer
  • Experience in characterization of protein complexes and induced proximity (including degraders) is preferred
  • Experience with bioinformatic tools and analyses a plus
  • Track record of driving research to productive, creative, data-driven decisions, demonstrating a team-centric mindset, communication acumen, and excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Think critically and creatively to design, execute, analyze, and communicate rigorous experimentation, performed independently while collaborating with senior colleagues
  • Demonstrate mastery of the relevant scientific and technical concepts to accelerate discovery activities, clarify disease mechanisms, and develop novel targeting modalities
  • Demonstrate advanced technical capabilities to deliver well-controlled, impactful experimental results to data-driven project teams
  • May contribute expertise to multi-disciplinary due diligence teams to evaluate and recommend partnerships
  • May contribute to research reports, INDs, and patent filings
  • Develop leadership by providing scientific expertise, experimental support, and recommendations on key decisions
  • May mentor or train researchers in areas of expertise
  • Manage efforts on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactively partner with Oncology teams to devise and refine experimental tactics and troubleshoot key methods
