Requirements

Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar (Scientist level: previous experience comparable to 2+ years OR Master's degree; equivalency of education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
Knowledge of analytical chemistry, HPLC, GC, KF, impurity analysis, residual solvent analysis
Elemental impurities testing knowledge (ICP-OES, XRF) is nice to have
Knowledge of applicable regulatory authority, compendial and ICH guidelines is a plus
Ability to work successfully in both a team/matrix environment as well as independently
Ability to understand and independently apply GMPs and/or GLPs to everyday work with regard to documentation and instrument use
Ability to utilize ELN, Empower is a plus, and Microsoft Excel and Word to perform tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to maintain accurate scientific documentation and effectively communicate results orally and in writing

Responsibilities

Analysis of chemical development and formulation samples using HPLC, GC, and KF
Participating in the planning and execution of experiments
Maintains accurate records of experiments and results in a laboratory notebook and authors reports as assigned
Interpretation and communication of results (present results in both oral and written reports)
Maintains general lab equipment, including HPLC, GC, and KF
Troubleshooting of instruments and experiments
Demonstrates responsible follow-up
Demonstrates knowledge of scientific principles and basic understanding of applicable drug development regulations
Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards

This is a fully onsite role based at our customer’s site in Boston, MA, requiring work Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm EST. Relocation assistance is not provided, and candidates are responsible for any relocation costs.
