Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
  • Licensure in the state of Indiana as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or provisional licensure (PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT) with supervision
  • Willingness to pursue additional state licensures if required
  • Comfortable providing telehealth services when needed (training provided)
  • Expertise in working with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and trauma-informed practices
  • Ability to manage caseloads while maintaining compliance with documentation standards
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clinical reporting

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students in school-based settings
  • Conduct intakes, screenings, and comprehensive assessments according to state and agency standards
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring plans evolve with student needs
  • Participate in case staffings, treatment team meetings, and consultations with school personnel
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional success
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Provide crisis intervention and coordinate emergency services as needed
  • Support students through transitions, including school changes, home challenges, or crisis situations
  • Facilitate psychoeducation groups, trauma-informed interventions, and evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT strategies
  • Represent Adult & Child Health professionally within the school and community
  • Participate in professional development, required trainings, and continuous quality improvement efforts
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership
