Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
Licensure in the state of Indiana as Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or provisional licensure (PLPC, LMSW, PLMFT) with supervision
Willingness to pursue additional state licensures if required
Comfortable providing telehealth services when needed (training provided)
Expertise in working with children and adolescents experiencing behavioral or emotional challenges
Strong collaboration skills for working with schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches and trauma-informed practices
Ability to manage caseloads while maintaining compliance with documentation standards
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including clinical reporting

Responsibilities

Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students in school-based settings
Conduct intakes, screenings, and comprehensive assessments according to state and agency standards
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, ensuring plans evolve with student needs
Participate in case staffings, treatment team meetings, and consultations with school personnel
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ academic and social-emotional success
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
Provide crisis intervention and coordinate emergency services as needed
Support students through transitions, including school changes, home challenges, or crisis situations
Facilitate psychoeducation groups, trauma-informed interventions, and evidence-based practices such as CBT and DBT strategies
Represent Adult & Child Health professionally within the school and community
Participate in professional development, required trainings, and continuous quality improvement efforts
Other duties as assigned by leadership
