Requirements

Functional expertise in SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM) within S/4HANA
Strong understanding of project billing (milestone, resource-related, periodic)
Familiarity with customer contracts, revenue recognition (IFRS15/ASC606), and commercial planning
Integration awareness across PS, SD, and FI/CO
Experience supporting testing, reconciliations, and data migration for project financials
Knowledge of audit/compliance requirements for project billing and contracts
Degree in Finance, Engineering, or IT
SAP CPM / PS certification desirable
Project management or accounting qualifications (Prince2, PMP, CIMA, ACCA) advantageous
Strong communication skills with ability to engage both Finance Controllers and Project Managers
Analytical and detail-oriented, ensuring accurate financial and contractual data
Collaborative approach, comfortable working in multi-disciplinary delivery teams
Ability to present complex commercial solutions in clear business terms

Responsibilities

Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements on project billing, contracts, and commercial processes
Configure SAP CPM for billing plans (milestone/periodic), contract structures, revenue recognition, and commercial planning
Ensure seamless integration with PS (WBS/activities), SD (contracts, order processing), and FI/CO (invoices, settlements)
Support WRICEF design for billing automation, contract workflows, and commercial reporting
Oversee data migration of project billing plans, open contracts, and commercial history
Prepare and execute functional test scenarios; support SIT, UAT, and cutover
Provide reporting frameworks for project margins, profitability, and compliance
Deliver documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to client project and finance teams
