Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or 5+ years of professional experience required (sales or clinical preferred)
  • Knowledge of marketing, market research, new product development, new product introduction, P/L management, and field testing
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of residence with a good driving record (to operate company vehicle capable of transporting equipment)
  • Ability to move, set up, and demonstrate equipment weighing up to 75 pounds (lift unassisted 75-80 pounds), reach, push, or pull
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, sit, stand, and/or crawl for prolonged periods
  • Coordination of eye, hand, and foot movement with ability to grasp by hand
  • Meet cognitive demands including visual and auditory discrimination/memory, reading ability, and memory retention
  • Handle materials including durcot fabric, nylon fabric, Velcro, zippers, product components of rubber, metals, and coated products
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills relating to stress management, people management, and conflict management
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independence when applying professional expertise
  • Written and oral communication skills to present to large groups
  • Ability to manage time, bring tasks to completion with minimal supervision, prioritize work, and keep detailed/confidential records
  • Unwavering ethics and integrity in a competitive/demanding environment
  • Excellent customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Stryker Emergency Care products to meet customers’ needs in a field-based role
  • Achieve assigned quota through consultative approach to Pre-Hospital sales, marketing, clinical support, and demonstrations of related products/programs
  • Become resident Emergency Care expert, with knowledge of own products and competitors’ offerings, to build credibility with fire chiefs, medical directors, clinical instructors, and administrators
  • Focus on customer satisfaction via teamwork, empowerment, problem-solving, honesty, integrity, and highly responsive service
  • Contribute to product innovation by listening, collaborating, and sharing new ideas
  • Live out mission to save/change lives by selling products that improve healthcare
