Requirements

  • Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship (8-11 months) and work in-office at least 1-2 days per week
  • Must be within reasonable commuting distance of Indianapolis, IN or Mason, OH (unless accommodation granted)
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or a related program (e.g., MSA, MBA, MSIS)

Responsibilities

  • Create and document results of control testing and review
  • Provide research support, develop work programs, engagement plans, and collaborate with audit team members
  • Assess risk of financial processes, operational processes, and the supporting IT systems
  • Document business processes dependent on financial data systems
  • Analyze results of specific or general work requests
  • Have direct contact with external audit firms for purposes of audit planning and remediation
  • Support the Risk, Controls, and Assurance team in ensuring stability and compliance of internal controls over financial reporting and audit/regulatory compliance (e.g., GAAP, SOX, MAR, SOC1)
