Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in RF and board design
  • Familiarity with WLAN and/or Cellular RF test equipment and supporting software
  • Knowledge in how to perform RF Test equipment evaluation and down selection
  • Ability to perform RF Characterization in OTA (anechoic) test chamber
  • Experience with Test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, and Oscilloscopes
  • Ability to perform processing, verifying, and analyzing measured data
  • Able to produce clear, concise presentations and reports
  • Developing custom tool sets to aid in data visualization
  • Experience with PTCRB (CTIA) and FCC certification processes and testing
  • Effective communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Excellent teamwork skills with proven ability to work with a cross-functional team and drive for timely project success
  • Knowledge and experience with commercial connectivity devices to include Mobile and IoT devices

Responsibilities

  • Design, measure, and oversee 3rd party solutions for WLAN, CV2X and 5G radios
  • Focus on de-sense impacts of the designed radios as well as for regulatory and carrier certifications
  • Maintain and validate Radio performance metrics
  • Set schedules
  • Oversee production and manufacturing
  • Support RMAs from the field
  • Collaborate with Antenna, Systems, device SW and cloud engineering team members
