Requirements

Flexible availability - including nights, weekends, and holidays
Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour)
Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking
Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform

Responsibilities

Build golfer relationships and work one-on-one with the golfer and teammate to ensure a positive club fitting experience
Support the Operations Sales Manager in achieving company objectives in sales performance, profit contribution, and profit and loss controls by overseeing the sales effort in the department
Train and certify all club fitters
Focus on driving sales specifically in services related areas, such as simulator, putting green, Special Orders, Pre-Owned, club fitting and repair programs, accessories, etc
Consistently analyze Golf sales reports and data to understand business results and opportunities and communicate the results to the teammates
Establish and maintain effective relationships with athletes and gain their trust and respect by using diplomacy and tact; ensure that athletes are greeted and acknowledged; offer customers assistance as needed or requested
Monitor the sales, customer service, and operational efforts of the selling floor
Serve as point of contact for athletes and teammates to provide golf services knowledge and communicate the company’s golf services standards
Maintain thorough knowledge of products and service, merchandise promotions, test merchandise, and advertising
Manage store services sales by performing customer club fittings and repairs
Train teammates on all aspects of services; specialized selling techniques, services technology, etc
Ensure department scheduling, workplace, and daily teammate assignments are on task
Help communicate information to department teammates regarding Company initiatives, programs, promotions, services, etc
Assist the store management team with general supervision in the store in accordance with Company policies and procedures including opening and closing the store and coverage as assigned - Key Carrier
Plan and execute all golf directives
Ensure the store is achieving shrinkage goal by partnering with teammates/management to set expectations on how to use merchandise for display and properly handle to ensure all is accounted for
Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding store operations
Perform all other tasks assigned by management
