Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, gain their trust and respect using diplomacy and tact; greet and acknowledge customers; offer assistance as needed
  • Aid customers by ascertaining their needs and directing them to the appropriate golf services area
  • Maintain high level of product and industry knowledge by learning about new technologies, products, and services
  • Support store services sales by performing athlete club fittings and repairs
  • Provide excellent direct and indirect customer service aligned with company programs
  • Make equipment recommendations tailored to the customer
  • Assist in achieving store shrinkage goals by properly handling and accounting for display merchandise
  • Assist with checking merchandise, service, and repair equipment arriving to the store, confirming quantities and condition
  • Adhere to policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures; maintain confidentiality of company information
  • Maintain and participate in recovery and cleanliness standards
  • Create an inclusive in-store environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected
  • Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
