Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar Facilities Management role, managing Retail or Commercial assets
  • Strong time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Experience using computer-based building maintenance and management systems
  • Excellent financial literacy and IT skills
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with all stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage assets to ensure smooth running of retail centres and some commercial and industrial assets
  • Manage key relationships and make recommendations to improve performance of client’s assets
  • Manage budgets effectively and contribute to investment plans to maximise asset values
  • Control costs and expenditure
  • Ensure building compliance is always maintained and drive initiatives on engineering standards across the business
  • Develop and enhance the team’s portfolio of services
  • Actively manage presentation and day-to-day operations of allocated properties, including security, cleaning, maintenance and safety
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including tenants, contractors and colleagues
  • Generate and manage work orders and review monthly operating expenditure against budget
  • Work with Property Managers to produce monthly client reports as required
  • Manage data within the facilities management systems
