Requirements

Candidates should possess a track record of high-quality papers, open-source projects, or equivalent accomplishments in industry, along with 5+ years of Machine Learning coding and/or research experience. Strong experience with empirical research and the ability to craft and execute research projects solving algorithmic and engineering problems is required, alongside great intuition for identifying promising areas and avoiding dead ends.

Responsibilities

The Research Scientist will lead research initiatives in AI-assisted software development, from zero to one, creating research questions to clarify the problem being solved and coordinating a research program to answer those questions. They will be responsible for running ML experiments, clearly communicating ideas and intuitions, and mentoring a small team of research engineers, while actively co-creating and participating in a positive team culture and frequently attending team events.
