Requirements

  • Enrolled in PhD in Computer Vision, Graphics, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Machine Learning
  • Proficiency in Python and other related programming languages
  • Practical experience working with multi-GPU-node neural network training, architecture design for video/image generative AI or 3D reconstruction, as well as large-scale data processing parallelization
  • Profound knowledge of content (re)creation using generative AI, including diffusion models
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Engage in quick iterations of hands-on research in the field of video/image generative AI and 4D neural reconstruction/representation
  • Balance between research and engineering, and develop state-of-the-art techniques to address high-priority challenges in the field of filmmaking, content (re)creation, and visual effects/enhancements (stylization, relighting, super-resolution, bit depth, etc)
  • Align closely with filmmakers and artists to prototype AI tools for their final pixel quality, production scaling, efficiency, and creativity
  • Conduct experiments to validate research hypotheses and incubate new ideas into publications
