Requirements

  • Independently execute experiments for method development and validation, specifically for extractable and leachable (E&L) profiling studies within timelines
  • Make sound technical recommendations in routine analytical activities and provide analysis/redesign of key experimental procedures
  • Produce scientific experimental data based on written procedures (e.g., method of analysis, protocols) and document per Vantive’s GDP
  • Conduct troubleshooting of analytical methods and laboratory investigations, including root cause analysis and proposing CAPA
  • Review and approve electronic raw data
  • Participate in E&L study design for medical devices
  • Interpret spectral data and identify E&L compounds
  • Provide input to select analytical techniques and procedures to solve problems
  • Apply technical theories and principles to projects within area of expertise
  • Independently analyze and propose solutions to research challenges, and learn newer analytical techniques
  • Author documents like methods of analysis, protocols, and reports
  • Review reports for accuracy and adequacy
  • Perform/support calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment
  • Participate and take ownership of equipment installation and qualification per Vantive’s QMS
  • Work according to quality standards and principles (e.g., Data Integrity, ALCOA)
  • Follow Vantive’s Quality Manual, SOPs, and EHS&S guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Support Vantive’s research and product development by working with global scientists
  • Establish quality and safety of drug products and devices by characterizing risks from impurities (e.g., E&L, nitrosamines, GTIs)
  • Execute analytical R&D activities in a best-in-class laboratory, applying latest techniques
