Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to work independently
  • Safely operate electric pallet jack
  • Good communication skills – written and oral
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis
  • Must be dependable
  • Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump)
  • Repack damaged product determined to be saleable
  • Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage
  • Properly record all dumped product
  • Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Other duties as assigned
