Position Overview

Thriveworks Counseling is seeking motivated individuals pursuing their Massachusetts State Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts. Join a clinician-founded national private practice group with a mission to help people live happy, successful lives by prioritizing client accessibility, integrity, and quality care. Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour Master's program.
  • Experience:
    • Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting, specifically treating depression and anxiety.
    • Graduate or post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing according to the current DSM under a licensed supervisor.
  • Availability: Full-time availability (30 hours/week), comprising 25 client visits and 5 hours of administrative time (including supervisory meetings).
  • Flexibility: Willingness to be flexible with your work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling services to clients.
  • Conduct client intakes and diagnose conditions based on the DSM.
  • Engage in administrative tasks, including attending supervisory meetings.
