Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have 3-5 years of experience in millwork/casework drafting and engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and experience with Microvellum is a plus. Familiarity with CNC machine codes and woodworking standards (AWI), along with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, are essential. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The CNC Programmer will interpret job orders, drawings, and customer specifications to create accurate CNC programs, collaborating with design and project teams to meet client expectations. Responsibilities include programming CNC routers, selecting appropriate tooling, and supporting plant operations with fabrication best practices. The role also involves preparing detailed production documentation, setting up and operating CNC machines using Microvellum and Biesse Rover codes, ensuring quality control, troubleshooting production issues, and training team members on CNC operations while driving continuous improvement and upholding safety standards.
