Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Reliability Engineering) or equivalent technical experience and demonstrated competence
- 3–5+ years in reliability, maintenance, or quality engineering roles
- Experience in manufacturing, med device, pharma, or similar regulated industries
- Software proficiency in ReliaSoft, Weibull++
Responsibilities
- Asset Care PM (Preventative Maintenance) Programs
- Spare parts management
- Asset structure maintenance
- Asset lifecycle planning (obsolescence and upgrades)
- Asset Performance: Tracking and trending
- Bad actor identification
- RCA’s and corrective action plans
- Reliability improvement projects
- Program ownership and oversight
- Predictive Maintenance (Vibration Analysis, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasonic Leak Detection, Oil Analysis, etc.)
- Maintenance and Rebuild Programs (Valve rebuilds, Safety Relief Valves, Gearmotors & Gearboxes, Vessel Inspections, Switchgear and MCC Maintenance, etc.)
- Responsible for planning and conducting small-sized assigned projects requiring conventional types of plans, investigations and/or equipment
- Participate and/or assist other engineers in project tasks by applying standard engineering theories, concepts and techniques
- Apply standard engineering principles and methodologies to interpret problems. Create/modify designs. Draw conclusions and recommend options for solutions
- Responsible for completing documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with business standards
- Participate on cross-functional teams to support organizational goals
- Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, rules and regulations
- Works under the supervision of more experienced engineers who review results for overall accuracy, completeness and soundness of technical judgment
- Recognizes risks versus the relative gains associated with actions
- Understands a project's critical success factors and makes recommendations and decisions impacting those factors
