Requirements

  • Experience in regulatory compliance or legal work, with exposure to telecommunications, technology, or cloud sectors as a plus
  • Strong research, analytical, and organisational skills, with a sharp eye for detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and work effectively with teams across functions and regions
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex regulatory information in a clear, practical way
  • Comfortable using compliance, document management, or workflow tools (like Jira, Confluence, OneTrust, or Ironclad)
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in law, business, compliance, or related field is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Support the Regulatory Compliance Officer in running Megaport’s telecommunications compliance program and keeping us on track globally
  • Research and document regulatory requirements for new markets and services to help drive Megaport’s global expansion
  • Prepare and coordinate licence applications, renewals, and amendments, and keep records of obligations, deadlines, and correspondence up to date
  • Draft and submit reports to telecommunications regulators (including revenue, operational, or incident reports)
  • Stay across developments in telecommunications and critical infrastructure regulation, and share key updates with the team
  • Work with Legal, Engineering, and Commercial teams to gather information and support compliance initiatives
  • Provide coordination and admin support to the Head of Privacy & Regulatory Affairs and the Regulatory Compliance Officer
