Requirements

Experience in regulatory compliance or legal work, with exposure to telecommunications, technology, or cloud sectors as a plus
Strong research, analytical, and organisational skills, with a sharp eye for detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and work effectively with teams across functions and regions
Ability to interpret and communicate complex regulatory information in a clear, practical way
Comfortable using compliance, document management, or workflow tools (like Jira, Confluence, OneTrust, or Ironclad)
Relevant tertiary qualification in law, business, compliance, or related field is an advantage

Responsibilities

Support the Regulatory Compliance Officer in running Megaport’s telecommunications compliance program and keeping us on track globally
Research and document regulatory requirements for new markets and services to help drive Megaport’s global expansion
Prepare and coordinate licence applications, renewals, and amendments, and keep records of obligations, deadlines, and correspondence up to date
Draft and submit reports to telecommunications regulators (including revenue, operational, or incident reports)
Stay across developments in telecommunications and critical infrastructure regulation, and share key updates with the team
Work with Legal, Engineering, and Commercial teams to gather information and support compliance initiatives
Provide coordination and admin support to the Head of Privacy & Regulatory Affairs and the Regulatory Compliance Officer
