Candidates must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of BC, in good standing, and possess previous pharmacy experience preferred, particularly in a fast-paced or mail-order environment. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in using pharmacy systems (Kroll) and computer literacy, and effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are required. Candidates should also demonstrate teamwork abilities, adaptability, proactivity, and a commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe workspace.
The Registered Pharmacy Technician will prepare, fill, label, and package prescription medications with accuracy and care, maintain and update patient profiles and medication records, support pharmacists in processing prescriptions and addressing inquiries, assist with inventory management, ensure a clean and compliant dispensary environment, contribute to quality control processes, and support packaging supply management to keep workflows moving efficiently across teams.
