New hires enter the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) at the appropriate level based on prior experience and education, developing clinical leadership skills, greater career satisfaction, and recognition for expertise.

The role is primarily clinic-based, with initial home visits conducted with another staff member present and regular training and follow-up visits in the clinic environment.

Responsibilities include empowering, engaging, and training dialysis patients on peritoneal and home hemodialysis, managing patient care in home therapy programs, providing education and support to patients and caretakers, participating in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities.
