Requirements

  • Registered Nurse license and qualifications
  • Passion, dedication, knowledge, motivation, and experience
  • Ability to direct, delegate tasks, train, and monitor direct-patient staff including LVNs/LPNs, Dialysis Assistants, and Patient Care Technicians
  • Knowledge of hemodialysis therapy, patient care standards, facility policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Adherence to FMCNA Compliance Program, Quality Enhancement Program (QEP), CQI activities, mission, vision, values, and customer service philosophy

Responsibilities

  • Function as part of the hemodialysis health care team to ensure provision of quality patient care daily in accordance with FMS policies, procedures, and training
  • Manage Patient Care Technicians in providing safe, effective delivery of chronic hemodialysis therapy
  • Assess care needs and develop assignments for direct-patient staff
  • Drive FMS culture through values and customer service standards; provide outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships through effective and timely communication; take initiative to respond, resolve, and follow up on customer service issues
  • Support FMCNA's Quality Enhancement Program (QEP) and CQI activities, including those related to patient satisfaction, and participate in process improvement activities
  • Adhere to all requirements of the FMCNA Compliance Program and FMS patient care and administrative policies
