Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
Experience providing behavioral support to students with autism and complex behavioral needs
Ability to work on-site at Fort Liberty base schools following a year-round school schedule
Compliance with DoDEA, Department of Defense, school policies, base security, and clearance requirements
Adherence to BACB ethical standards and KBH values
Professionalism, discretion, and maintenance of confidentiality with school staff, families, and military personnel

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one behavioral support to assigned students (typically two: one in the morning, one in the afternoon)
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and instructional programs designed and overseen by BCBAs
Support students with complex behavioral needs using function-based interventions, reinforcement systems, de-escalation, and crisis-prevention strategies
Ensure treatment integrity and follow BCBA feedback to maintain fidelity of implementation
Collect behavioral data (frequency, duration, ABC, IOA) to monitor student progress
Maintain accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality in documentation per DoDEA and KBH standards
Support completion of data summaries, progress reports, and participate in behavioral crisis debriefs
Attend monthly BCBA supervision meetings and team meetings with DoDEA school staff
Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams for consistency across settings
Communicate regularly with assigned BCBA regarding student progress, concerns, and adjustments
Uphold safety, dignity, and professional boundaries, including when rotating across school sites
