Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor sales, including 3+ years in a regional or team leadership role
  • Proven track record in managing multinational sales teams and achieving growth targets in complex markets
  • Strong technical knowledge of FPGA, SoC, and semiconductor solutions, with the ability to translate technology into customer value
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and execution capabilities
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in Hebrew or other regional languages is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the South EMEA region
  • Based in Israel (Primary Location: Jerusalem, Israel; Additional Locations: Haifa, Israel)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the South EMEA sales strategy, aligned with Altera’s EMEA business objectives
  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional sales team, setting clear goals and ensuring high performance across the region
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities with OEMs, Tier 1s, and design partners in target markets such as communications, data center, automotive, and industrial
  • Manage key customer relationships to ensure long-term growth and design-win success
  • Collaborate closely with Field Application Engineers (FAEs), product marketing, and business units to deliver comprehensive technical and commercial support
  • Lead forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting for the South EMEA region
  • Drive operational excellence through disciplined account planning and CRM utilization
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and manage pricing and supply discussions within corporate policies
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer requirements, providing insights to EMEA leadership and product teams
  • Manage and align regional distributors and channel partners to ensure strong demand creation and market coverage
  • Represent Altera at industry events, trade shows, and executive customer meetings across the region
