Requirements

Ability to travel between properties within a designated region
Knowledge of technical and mechanical work to maintain buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality
Compliance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements
Capability to diagnose defects or problems and make repairs
Skills in completing make-ready processes, including inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, supply management, and work inspection
Proficiency in inventory tracking, accessing materials/supplies/equipment/tools, and notifying supervisors about re-order needs
Ability to complete accurate and timely documentation and paperwork

Responsibilities

Travel between properties within a designated region to assist with make-readies, work orders, curb appeal, cap ex projects, etc
Complete assigned work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and making repairs
Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, vendor/contractor scheduling, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and inspections
Follow procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools; track inventory, return unused items, and notify supervisors about re-order needs
Complete documentation and paperwork accurately and timely for service request tracking
Assist in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash/debris, pressure-washing, general cleaning, and painting curbs/signage as needed
Support cost-cutting and expense control by fixing rather than replacing parts
