Requirements

  • Field-based role with regional scope in the Midwest (preference for candidates residing near major metropolitan cities such as Chicago, IL; Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN; Indianapolis, IN; Milwaukee/Madison, WI; Detroit/Grand Rapids, MI; Omaha, NE; Monticello)
  • Leadership experience managing and developing teams of District Managers (DMs) and Dermatology Sales Specialists
  • Expertise in the Janssen business, healthcare marketplace, Immunology Dermatology, and account management
  • Highly collaborative skills to work with internal partners (e.g., Sales Leadership, Brand, Strategic Customer Group, Field Sales Partners, Commercial Excellence, Analytics & Insights) and external stakeholders
  • Technical competence and skills in sales, business planning, and resource prioritization

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and directly manage a team of District Managers (DMs) and Dermatology Sales Specialists to maximize sales opportunities across Janssen Biotech’s Dermatology accounts
  • Develop and execute an aligned business plan customized to Janssen business and brand strategies, delivering compliant product sales growth and volume objectives while addressing customer and marketplace needs
  • Collaborate extensively at all organizational levels with key internal partners and external stakeholders to develop optimal access, establish relationships, and facilitate positive business interactions
  • Lead, motivate, coach, develop, and retain a diverse team, focusing on critical business competencies and leadership imperatives
  • Coach team members to convince internal and external stakeholders, build mutual alignment, adopt difficult positions, and achieve customer-centric and company-responsible outcomes
  • Prioritize opportunities, secure and apply resources/efforts to maximize results, and interface with cross-disciplinary stakeholders
