Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
Authorized to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without employment visa sponsorship now or in the future
Valid driver’s license
Previous exposure with pertinent issues of electrical and instrument codes and specifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to contribute in a team environment
Military experience a plus

Responsibilities

Interface with a wide variety of personnel on instrumentation and power distribution issues
Provide technical assistance as a team member in maintenance functions and support projects
Lead the execution of projects to improve plant electrical and instrumentation systems
Conduct investigations and root cause failure analysis of plant systems
Develop and utilize project management skills including scope alignment, cost and schedule development, and teamwork through multiple engineering phases (E&I Project Engineers)
Troubleshoot Electrical & Instrumentation issues, analyze equipment failures, develop solutions for recurring difficulties, submit Project Request Forms (PRFs), and understand equipment maintenance strategies (Reliability E&I Engineers)
Use electrical analysis software to solve coordination issues and run Arc Flash studies for the power system; learn and understand Refinery Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) (Reliability E&I Engineers)
Work on projects in support of process control systems for real-time control and data acquisition in refinery processes and electrical equipment (Process Control / Technical Service Engineers)
