Compliance with all relevant FME policies, guidelines, manuals, and SOPs
Keep updated on current FME Policies relevant to the role and integrate corporate values in daily business
Compliance with SSC’s internal procedures and instructions
Compliance with rules in the service contract between SSC and local organization regarding timeliness and quality

Responsibilities

Preparing manual and automatic postings and entering them into the system as part of the general ledger
Reconciling balance sheet accounts and general ledger accounts
Closing accounting periods in accordance with the defined list of activities and provisions of the service contract
Posting prepayments, accruals, and provisions
Opening and closing accounting periods in the books
Receiving fixed assets
Ongoing posting of fixed assets
Updating fixed assets records
Posting depreciation
Reconciling bank account accounts
Perform iPace controls
Job-related support for other team members (acting as a buddy for less experienced colleagues)
Job-related support for the Team Leader: first line of escalation and queries handling within a Team
Participation in operational calls/taking over calls during TL absence
Analyzing problems reported by the Customer (escalations) and active participation in solving them
Identifying sources and gaps in the process, proposing and implementing improvements (Kaizen ideas)
Contribution to Internal/External Audit preparation and presentation to auditors
Conducting training in the process, tools used, and accounting within the SSC
Active participation in projects conducted by the SSC
Leading transitions and other projects from operations perspective
Supporting new metrics implementation according to requirements
SOPs maintenance (preparation, update)
Perform process-related reporting for particular market(s) (standard and non-standard, adhoc reports on LO request)
Coordination of assigned topics - rising risks, monitoring, solutions implementation, driving topic with different stakeholders
Acting as a buddy for new joiners (also from other departments) (on request)
Other specific activities determined for the assigned accounting area
Other activities and duties ordered by the immediate superior
Assisting in other day-to-day administrative tasks
