Requirements

  • Track record of academic success and scientific methodology in chosen field
  • Experience with quantum algorithms and quantum circuits
  • Experience with quantum development platforms and current/near-term quantum hardware
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career as a future leader in R&D
  • Ability to manage, plan, and prioritize projects
  • Demonstrated leadership proficiency, learning agility, and adaptability
  • Effective communication skills, especially for presenting scientific results, keeping records, and working collaboratively in a team of scientists
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship for employment visa status

Responsibilities

  • Work with teams to address key questions through quantum computing algorithm experimentation and development efforts on various in-house technological platforms
  • Contribute to an R&D project by designing, conducting, and overseeing scientific studies and experiments
  • Document research efforts and work
  • Share analyses and present results to senior level R&D staff and management personnel
  • Receive additional training in product development and related R&D programs
  • Contribute to innovation and develop ideas into real world solutions
  • When applicable, publish work or present at conferences
