  • PhD Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related engineering field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive background in Quantum Information Science and Systems Engineering with 12+ overall years of experience in the Quantum Computing industry
  • A demonstrated ability to deliver high impact value in quantum computing systems design
  • Hands-on experience working with several different types of qubits and controller systems
  • Ways to stand out (preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with co-design of control systems with qubit architectures, ideally including communication and networking techniques
  • Working knowledge of methods of measuring and benchmarking quantum systems
  • Adoption of AI and ML techniques
  • Experience with CUDA and NVIDIA GPUs
  • Passion to drive technology innovations into NVIDIA software and hardware products to support Quantum Computing

Responsibilities

  • Path-find technical innovations in quantum-classical systems design and integration, working with multi-functional teams in Product, Engineering, and Applied Research
  • Develop novel approaches to real-time calibration supported by rigorous systems analysis for a variety of qubit modalities
  • Research and co-design integration of classical control systems, QPUs, and heterogeneous GPU and CPU compute, including computation and communication requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on developing technology requirements and system components to enable fault-tolerant quantum computing
  • Adopt a culture of collaboration, rapid innovation, technical depth, and creative problem solving
