Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Financial Engineering, Physics, Computer Science)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments and derivatives (e.g., swaps, options, structured products)
  • Familiarity with quantitative modeling concepts such as calibration, volatility surfaces, and Monte Carlo simulation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Python, C++, or scripting languages is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve client-reported BAU issues (e.g., pricing errors, model failures, configuration inconsistencies) related to Numerix analytics and system behavior
  • Respond to general product usage questions and provide conceptual explanations of Numerix’s quantitative framework (e.g., curve construction, calibration logic, model parameters)
  • Collaborate with internal teams — including Quant Development, Product Management, and the Risk team — to triage and isolate issues before escalation, ensuring efficient and accurate resolution paths
  • Document case resolutions and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Numerix’s pricing models and analytics, particularly in areas such as interest rate derivatives, FX, equity, and hybrid products, to support accurate diagnostics and communication
