Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, or other STEM-related program
Maintained a GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent)
Fluent in oral and written English with effective communication skills
Able to relocate for the duration of the internship (Skaneateles, NY)
Legally authorized to work in the United States (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or temporary resident) without need for employment sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

Conducting inspections and quality checks on products, materials, and equipment to ensure they meet industry standards and company specifications
Performing various tests and analyses on components, materials, and products to verify their integrity, functionality, and safety
Accurately documenting inspection and test results, including any non-conformities or defects, and reporting findings to the quality team
Assisting in investigating and identifying the root causes of quality issues or defects and working on corrective and preventive actions
Participating in quality assurance activities, including process audits, to ensure that quality control measures are being followed consistently
Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained
