Requirements

Familiarity with SPAP, PPAP, IQA, CQMS, ISO
Strong understanding of BIQ, CPI, and RCCA Processes
Proficiency in AQE, Excel and Power BI
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Previous supervisory experience
Ability to interpret and communicate results from statistical tools
Ability to lead quality reviews and apply assurance standards
Ability to facilitate productive team discussions and problem-solving sessions
Ability to apply diagnostic tools and stakeholder perspectives to resolve issues
Ability to use various RCA methodologies (safety, production, process, failure, systems) to identify and resolve recurring issues

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of hourly quality inspectors and first responders
Investigate supplier quality issues
Support Built-In Quality (BIQ) and Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) initiatives for the Decatur facility
Own and prioritize process containment, ECA, and ICA with team and suppliers, ensuring corrective actions are driven back to suppliers
Maintain quality system documentation and analyze trends in non-conformance
Support internal and external audits, including follow-up on corrective actions
Develop quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines and control plans which assure quality and reliability of manufactured products
Lead the development and implementation of corrective action and preventive measures to achieve quality targets
Lead, manage and develop multiple teams, team leaders, quality specialists and inspectors to assure that quality standards are met
Develop and review reports to review with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to solve quality issues
Oversee the administration and continual improvement of quality management systems
Develop and support team with activities; training, rapid response to Supplier related issues to include problem solving, containment, feedback with supplier and updates to operations and leadership
