Requirements

  • Experience with cosmetic parts inspections
  • Experience with reading blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Experience measuring with and utilizing inspection equipment including calipers, CMMs, gauges, and other measuring tools
  • At least 1 year of experience as a quality inspector in injection molding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to take directions well
  • Ability to work in a deadline-sensitive environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic level of experience working with computers and office systems like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills with a background in reporting and documentation
  • Physical abilities: bending and twisting (neck/waist, squatting), computer use (typing, mouse, sitting/looking for long periods), exposure to machinery noise, hand use (power gripping with tools like hammer drills and torque wrenches), hearing alarms/signals/verbal instructions, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, sitting/standing for extended periods, occasional exposure to temperature/humidity fluctuations in warehouse environments, walking for long periods

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming parts by conducting visual and dimensional tests
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and tracking lists
  • Inspect shipments of parts sent to other sites
  • Accept and reject parts based on findings
  • Prepare Quality reports for review by the Quality Engineer
  • Use tooling including computers, calipers, CMMs, and other inspection tools
