Requirements

Experience with cosmetic parts inspections
Experience with reading blueprints and engineering drawings
Experience measuring with and utilizing inspection equipment including calipers, CMMs, gauges, and other measuring tools
At least 1 year of experience as a quality inspector in injection molding
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to take directions well
Ability to work in a deadline-sensitive environment while maintaining strong attention to detail
Basic math skills
Basic level of experience working with computers and office systems like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
Strong analytical skills with a background in reporting and documentation
Physical abilities: bending and twisting (neck/waist, squatting), computer use (typing, mouse, sitting/looking for long periods), exposure to machinery noise, hand use (power gripping with tools like hammer drills and torque wrenches), hearing alarms/signals/verbal instructions, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, sitting/standing for extended periods, occasional exposure to temperature/humidity fluctuations in warehouse environments, walking for long periods

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming parts by conducting visual and dimensional tests
Document inspection results by completing reports and tracking lists
Inspect shipments of parts sent to other sites
Accept and reject parts based on findings
Prepare Quality reports for review by the Quality Engineer
Use tooling including computers, calipers, CMMs, and other inspection tools
