Requirements

  • Must have Aircraft structures and/or sheet metal inspection experience
  • Ability to understand and interpret blueprints (GD&T) and all applicable drawings
  • Familiarity with AS9102
  • Knowledge with nonconformance investigation
  • Previous experience inspecting mechanical parts
  • Proficiency with product verification to drawing requirements
  • Strong communication and technology skills
  • Must be local
  • Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and may be subject to random drug testing
  • Must undergo background check
  • Must be ITAR compliant

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that final products meet drawing requirements and specifications through thorough inspection processes
  • Identify and document any damage or nonconformance issues and conduct investigations into these discrepancies
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of sheet metal final assembly installations on aircraft components such as fuselage, wings, and tail assemblies
  • Maintain accurate inspection logs, write detailed inspection reports, and handle a variety of moderately complex tasks
  • Collaborate frequently with individuals from other departments to ensure quality standards are consistently met
  • Conduct In-Process Inspection
