Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical, and demonstrate a strong understanding of quality engineering principles and methodologies. They should have experience in developing and implementing quality standards, quality control systems, and manufacturing and supplier quality processes, along with the ability to conduct inspections and testing to ensure quality specifications are met.

Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing quality standards, quality control systems, and manufacturing and supplier quality processes; inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products; collaborating with production leadership to develop and implement controls and improvements; conducting technical and statistical investigations on quality problems; developing corrective actions and solutions for supplier, production, and product issues; leading supplier audits, APQP, PPAP, and Gauge R&R activities; participating in design reviews; developing forms and instructions for quality data collection; leading MRB meetings; acting as a quality representative for the engineering change control board; and leading the implementation of quality processes and KPI’s with internal manufacturing teams and suppliers.
